Relational Resources

The resources you'll find in this section, as well as Smartview Stories products, support growth in our relational skills. This begins with the one relationship that is with us in every moment. Our relationship with Our Self.

Focusing skills are valuable for all ages!

Sarah Skaar, USA shares: "I’ve been using focusing with my baby and he really responds to it! When he is upset I use the focusing phrases that I would say to parts of myself like “you can keep feeling upset and that’s okay or you can feel something else. I’ll just sit here with you no matter what you decide” it helps keep me calm too!"
From our conception in our mother's womb, we are always in relationship with the world around us. Relational skills apply to much more than other people. We want to understand how to relate and form healthy attachments toward:
  • our environment, sounds, smells, etc.
  • the place we call home
  • plants and animals that live around us
  • our bodies, how we nourish and live from it
  • our bloodline, spiritual, various community and workplace ancestors
  • to the 'times' we are born into
